Graffiti Neutralization and Trail Closure Workshop

Noticed some offensive graffiti on your trail, but unsure of how to get rid of it without using toxic chemicals? Are unofficial trails confusing hikers and causing damage to ther environment?

Join NYNJTC Field Trail Builder, Andrew Rosenthal-Baxter in this workshop to learn best practices for covering up graffiti and effectively closing off unauthorized "herd Path" trails. These are great skills to learn and apply to trail maintenance.

 
Please come prepared with:
  • Work gloves

  • Glasses or Sunglasses for eye protection

  • Plenty of water

  • Lunch and snacks

  • Long pants

  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes

Spare tools will be provided for those who don't have them.
